Coming into the new year, I thought I'd post this up as a good example of the kind of thinking we should all be putting into our personal safety. The writer of this article, and many of the situations described therein, are American and, while not unique to the United States, at least far more of an issue there than over here in Ireland but the core message is well worth taking some time to consider.
