Hello maggots!

The grading (DUN-DUN-DUNNN!!!) will be on September 29th in the place of a normal class. Sensei Hodgins will be presiding over it and he'll be loaded for bear, having just been ripped bodily from the warm cozy womb that is his house in Thailand in order to come over here and see what you lot have managed to do to his martial art this time.
You have been warned. Needless to say, I have every faith in you and can practically hear the sound of wet paper bags quivering in fear. <Grin>

can I ask who is grading? as in is it just blue belt or do we have yellows or purples too?

I'm guessing the chances of me bing ready within 2 weeks are slim. But you never know.

Well there's always the next batch which should be shortly after. So if you miss this one, you won't have too long to wait until the next. And I suppose it just gives you time to go over things again and polish too.

The various powers that be are trying to standardise and formalise everything in a effort to at least appear more professional.

Training is (and has) been happening, but not a class. Largely just the seniors training amongst themselves for the upcoming grading, since there isn't a sensei around to teach class at the moment. Contact maximillian, he also wanted to train, but without at least two people at the same level its tough to do (as the seniors are doing pretty high grade throws and the like that you probably wouldn't be able to take).

With the limited time frame i'd want to be concentrating on whats on the sylabus so a fellow 1st time grader would be useful. Anyone other than max interested?
