Just wondering, what kind of martial arts experience do people out there have? Are you still training or have you quit? If so, why?

Been doing ju-jutsu since transition year, have my purple belt at this point.
Tried ninjutsu for a while, and have also done a bit of Aikido.
Tried Karate once or twice, couldn't get the hang of it really...
Enjoying the hell out of jujutsu!!!

Hold a green belt in Taekwondo, but haven't trained properly since before college. Either i can't make it to classes, or there aren't any classes around. For a while now i haven't been able to find any place locally that does it (everytime they start up they close down after only a couple of months) Neutral

Been doing Kenpo Karate for just over 9 years now.

I do self defence, aikido and ocassionaly sport karate all here in the college. I train up to 11 hours a week and love every moment of it (usually).

I've done a very small amount of Judo, and even smaller amount (like two classes or so) of Sport Karatee, about six months to a year (not necessarily all in a row) of Aikedo and a few years of Jujitzu. The only one I have a belt in is Jujitzu and it's a yellow one. Unfortunately I tend only to have the time and energy for one training class a week these days and it goes to Monday's Jujitzu class without contest...

I did Taekwondo for two years when I was 15, but the teacher had to stop the classes for some reason. I wasn't able to find another class close enough to attend. I was going to do some martial arts at Maynooth but I decided I'd prefer to do GameSoc stuff.

I don't know. Martial arts don't really appeal to me any more. Maybe I've just gotten lazy.

I started martial art when I came to Maynooth (unless poxy moves pulled off when bepumelling me brothers and vice vers counts)
Got roped into ju-jitsu and Aikido. But it's difficult for me to keep both up at the one time since I started with ju-jit so I'll finish. Been outa training for two months though. i SWEAR if I fuck up another body part on my first session back there will be fumeing and all sorts of bad language spilt out that was never meant to have been incurred on human ears.
