What's the actual DCUMAC website again?
I know Crashaid is down as my webpage on Mikado but I'm not sure about the actual site.

Yes. Yes you do <grin>
There's the css, the divs and the layout. They gave it away for me <grin>
Edit:
Oh and don't forget the funky colour scheme. That's one thing I can never get right!

I've edited the top post to make it a bit more readable (ie, just links, no random text)

If there are any other clubs with websites that people know of, or external links of interest, post them up and I'll add them to the top post.

Slight updates to the self defence club site - it's now a lot prettier (I'm still not happy with the menu, but it's alright for now), and it's up to web standards code wise.

Anyone got links for the first post - other martial arts clubs in the college? I know that self defence and aikido arent' the only clubs <grin>

Suggestions for the self defence club:
Syndicate mikados Martial arts threads instead of linking to them
I'd (as a matter of PERSONAL taste and in no way a slight) change the font in the links.
Other than that, it looks very well and runs smoothly. Congrats.

If you want a hand with it, I'm not bad. I've managed to pull off some nifty tricks. Javascript makes CSS and HTML a doddle.

I'm a bit of a purist <grin> , don't like to use javascript where possible - almost everything I've designed is pure html and css, although recently I've made the move to xhtml.

There's nothing wrong with Purism in moderation. If you don't like JScript, fair enough. The offer still stands.

really like the nice clean look of the self defence/ games websites Kila, keep up the good work

i've alot of work to do on the site before the new term, at the moment it's got loads of horrible dreamweaver generated html, i'm going to make it all xhtml / css compliant and i have to add a photo album and make a php based news posting system.

Well I doubt that you need my help, but if nothing else I'm well acquainted with the validators on w3.org <grin> so I'm only a pm away if there's anything I can do.

Thanks, slowly but surely I'm getting better...

I've had a good experience with simplog (www.simplog.org) for a php news posting system. If you're not going to code you're own, I'd recommend it. There's a post on the cyberweb board about blog engines for the purpose of posting up news, might be worth checking it out. It's here.
