Right i've been advised that i really should get one also the extra large neck that is now on my t shirt after tonights training is also a sign i need one. Also i want one. Now after next week im not going to be able to train for a few weeks so there is no immediate rush but what i want to know

1)How much?
2)where to get one?

It has been mentioned to me that maybe the clubs will subsadize something towards the cost of one, is that still the case?

(Hope i spelt it right in the title...)

Well, for a start, the club can't subsidise anything right at the minute. We won't be getting capitation til a short while after C&S training weekend, which won't be happening until after fairs day. Accordingly, we won't be subsidising (if we are) until some time in october.

We can't work out a budget for the year until we get capitation. When we do get our total, we have to work out the budget for the year, decide what the club needs, and where whatever money we're given is going to go.

In short, if you're buying it some time before October/November, you are unlikely to get a subsidy.

I imagine it will cost you around €50, it seems the standard across the board give or take a few euro. You should make sure you get a heavy duty one (not a light karate one like the one I very occasionally wear) as anything else is likely to tear, and at 50 quid a pop, they're something you want to get a long life out of.

If you can't get a heavy duty one in one of the two martial arts shops in town (I'll look up some phone numbers if I can), then I'd suggest maybe talking to Detta.

Ok I get mine from the martial arts shop near Jervis Street. Basically stand outside the entrance to jervis street and turn away from the spike. Walk down the street, cross the road and keep walking straight down that road. There is a martial arts shop across the street from the AIB there.
Go in and ask for a judo suit. I suggest size 5 for you. It will be about €45.
