Cage Contender 14th November 2009
Club fighter Allyn Hunt (right on the picture) entered the competition in Carrickfergus . He faced Hugh Minnock (The Warriors) from Ennis. Allyn showed big heart and spirit. After 3 rounds action he lost by a contraversial judges decision.
Torres Elite Submission Wrestling Open Tournament 28 June 2009
Five club members had entered in the Warrenpoint . Marius and Sylwester won 1st places. Ramunas 2nd and Owen O Neill 3th. Great day out at Seb Torres’ submission tournament in Warrenpoint.
RUMBLE IN RUSH 13th June 2009
We had three fighters from the club entered in the Rush on saturday night with good wins for Sam (second from the right) over Kevin Fitzgerald (Rush), Sylwester (third from the left) against Paul Donohue (Top Pro Kilkenny) and Ingus (first on the left) against Piotr Kilav (Ultimate MMA) just losing by decision . Sam won by guilliotine in 2nd round after a good display of striking and ground work by both guys. Sylwester came out very aggressive and finished fight by guilliotine as well after a few good shots to the head. Ingus showed great spirit by going the distance with a more experienced opponent. SPARTAN 3 ANTRIM Feb 28th
Marius Lapenas (In the middle with belt) is first WIMAAO Middleweight IRISH TITLE champion for the club and Spartan promotion. Marius beat Tim Mc Crory (Kyojin) by unanimous decision.
ULTIMATE CONTENDERS 1 December 21st 2008
Sam Keatinge (right on the picture) had a great his debut win in Warrenpoint against a EFR Amateur champion Ryan Rocks (Kyojin) by unanimous decision.

Tribal Warfare 3 -"Ultimate Force" 20 September 2008
Marius had a great win in Galway against the Former (EFR) Irish champion Tom Haddock .Tom came very relaxed and threw a few leg kicks .Marius rushed him with a left,right combination bringing the fight to the ground. There Marius threw some elbows and punches to the head. As Tom tried to get back to his feet "Pitbull" caught him in a guilliotine and there was no escape from Tom. Marius won the fight within the first minute of the first round. It was great win for Marius against very experienced and respected Fighter who had 20 fights.
ROYCE GRACIE seminar at Letterkenny 29th June 2008
Members of the club travelled to Letterkenny to take part in a Brazillian Jiu Jitsu seminar with UFC hall of famer Royce Gracie. Royce taught a half day course and took plenty of time to help with techniques and chat to people. The course finished up with a grappling session between all the clubs, with Royce taking on Marius. Big thanks to Josie Murray & his club for organising the seminar.

Our own Marius entered into a BJJ competition in SBG Northside, and won all 3 fights - Congratulations Marius! This was his first time in a BJJ rules competition.

Three of our guys entered into the MMA League in UCD on Decemer 1st, and we won nearly all our matches - details on the mmaleague website.
