Hey
I'm Jason and crazy and all as it sounds I have decided to take on
the role of President of the Psychology Society in
my final year! Yes I know, I am freaking nuts!!!
I have pretty much been involved with the committee
since the society was started back in my first year
so I said,,,,I might as well go out with a bang and
become the head honcho! So if you see me out and
about, you may refer to me as your excellence :P
vice President
Liz is a final year student too doing her research
with rats which she is loving (whether its the rats,
the research or Sean we're not sure). She has
never been
on the committee before so she ran for VP this year
in the hopes of getting more involved and having some fun.
Someday when he grows up (hehehe) she wants to be a
clinical neuropychologist! GO LIZ

Jen
has pretty much been a resident in the PsychSoc
since its beginnings too. She's a post grad student
in the department working under Richard on Stress.
She still dreams of getting married in Tuscany. For
those of you wanting to look your best for the
Christmas party, Jen is also a make-up artist! :)

Louisa is another 4th year Psychology thru Science
person and a mature student like myself (thou
neither of us look it!) She's decided to do her
final year research with Yvonne so can usually be
found stressing about the dreaded IRAP with the rest
of Dermot's and Yvonne's group. She's a regular at
the Christmas party with a whiskey induced festive
grin!

Well
for a while there we thought we were not gonna have
a PRO this year cause no one seemed to want to try
and fill my shoes but then low and behold these two
stepped up and decided to give it a joint go! Marc
and Maria are both first year students and you gotta
love their enthusiasm, course that'll all go by the
end of 2nd year (Report, Essay, Report,
essay........)
1st science rep
Clodagh,
Clodagh, Clodagh is our first year Psychology thru
Science rep! Go her, she's taken on a bigger job
than me; managing 1st science and being a member of
the extended committee of the PsychSoc! Go her! So
any of you first year Science students who feel like
they are being left out or forgotten about, attack
Clodagh, she can in turn attack us!
1st arts reps
Now, look at these two, Stephen and Honor, could ya
ask for two better people to represent your class
eh!
Both are of course first years. Stephen is doing
Sociology and Philosophy (the mad egg) and Honor is
doing the more grounded subjects of English and
Geography. Check them out when you see them floating
about campus!
2nd arts 3rd science reps
Claire
has been out and about with the PsychSoc since she
started college in NUIM in some fashion and she's
joined by Aoibheann who's a newbie to the society!
Claire is a 3rd year psychology thru science student
whereas Aoibheann is a 2nd year arts student! So
fair to say both classes are well represented by
these two!
