It is an amalgamation of Clondalkin Lakers basketball club, Lucan Basketball club and Leinster lion’s Girls basketball club. With 19 teams competing in the Dublin leagues it is the largest basketball club in west Dublin and currently one of the largest clubs in Dublin. The basketball academy is the development area for the club and where the talent of the future will be nurtured and given opportunities that most other sports can not offer.

Ladies Team Require players

HEAD MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH - SLIGO ALL-STARS - SEASON 2007/08

Sligo All-Stars Basketball Club is seeking applicants for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach 2007-2008 season. Sligo All-Stars compete in the Basketball Ireland senior Men's Division One.

Qualified candidates must have a firm commitment to the club and all its internal structures. The candidate must also display a substantial background in the sport of basketball, and basketball coaching experience, preferably at Senior level. The candidate will be expected to coach our boys Basketball teams & drive our underage boys section for the 2007-2008 season. The successful candidate will be expected to work within the budget outlined by the club, assist with team fundraising, and will answer directly to the Director of Basketball operations & Chairman of the club.

Potential teaching responsibilities may be offered with the position therefore someone with an Education Background would hold a distinct advantage in acquiring this position.

Full Clean Driving Licence also required.

Seasonal Basketball and summer camp opportunities are also available.
