Ronan is one of Irelands top players.As a Junior Ronan Terrorised defences throughout the country.He won 3 All Ireland MVP awards and averaged 45 points per game his final year in school.He was a member of the Irish Junior mens National team. Ronan went on scholarship to the Us to develop his game and after a spell at Paul Smiths College where he won NJCAA All American First team honors. Ronan then transfarded to D3 St. Lawerences university. After graduation Ronan returned to Ireland and lead Ballina to the Division 1 title and won the D1 player of the year. Last season Ronan led Ballina into the Superleague and was the top scoring Irish player in the league. All along Ronan has played both GAA and Basketball and was a member of the Mayo GAA team.
