John learned the game through Killesters excellent youth structure, John teamed up with the Westbrook brothers to form one of Irelands most formidable junior teams. Killester were unlucky to loose out to an outstanding Demons team in the Junior National cup final where John poured in twenty points. John also stared for St. Finatns high school where he won both Junior and Senior all Irelands. John has represented Ireland at Cadet and U20 level. At the Irish under 20's European Championships John was Irelands Top Scorer and the 2nd top scorer at the tournament averaging 18.3 ppg. At only 20 years of age John is now Killesters starting Shooting Guard and is one of the most promising players in the league. John is one of the best shooters in the country and any team that dont recognise this live to regret it.
