Dave grew up playing on the same Blue Demons team as Niall Murphy and contrary to most peoples beliefs their not brothers. In 2003 Dave helped lead Blue Demons to the under 19 national Cup puting in some big preformances along the way. Dav was also a member of the Junior Mens National team that upset Crotia in the European qualifiers. A lightning quick point guard with a smooth handle Dave has made a big impression in the superleague this year with Demons. This year Dave is on a basketball scholarship at UCC.
