NUI Maynooth is situated approximately 15 miles from Dublin in the heart of the Kildare countryside, and is well served by motorway, rail and bus links. Maynooth has two suburban bus routes, the 66 and the 67a. The town is also served by Bus Eireann and private coach companies en route to Galway and the west of Ireland. Trains are approximately hourly up until 6pm and go direct to Dublin city centre.
If driving take the Maynooth exit off the N4 and Drive twards the town centre you will come to an intersection which leads onto the main street. Turn left onto the main street. Approxmitly 30 meters down the main street is a small intersection turn right here. Take the next left onto the main Kilcock road. The enterence to the main campus is about 200 meters down the road on the right. When you drive in the gates turn left and follow the road and you will see the sports centre in front of you after you pass the bar.
The 66 and 67A will leave you in the main street which is only a ten minute walk from the sports centre.The train station is very close to the main street and again only a short walk from the sports centre.In the evening time it is quicker to take the train as the 66 and 67A pass through Lucan which is very conjested in the evenings.
