Robotics
 
Marcus, our beautiful Projects Officer will be organising a group to build a robot using LEGO Mindstorms equipment. We're currently in the planning/awaiting money stages, but contact Marcus for details on when the fun will begin!
 

IFAS Observing Challenges
 
We're affiliated with IFAS, the Irish Federation of Astronomical Societies, so we get to take part in their Observing Challenges.
Essentially, the deal is that you get a workbook, complete the assignments in it (mostly locating objects in the sky), and then return it to get a shiny certificate.
